The Winning Split 50/50 Raffle is hosted by, and supports, the Canadian Mental Health Association Wood Buffalo and the Local Helicopter Emergency Response Organization.

The Winning Split 50/50 Raffle is approved under Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis Association (AGLC) License Number #744249.

Players must be a resident of Alberta, 18 years of age or older, and use a major credit card, Visa Debit or MasterCard Debit to purchase online 50/50 tickets. Tickets can be purchased with cash on location at Ribfest 2025.

Tickets will be available online and in person and sold at a rate of:
- 1 for $10 – 500 packages available
- 4 for $20 – 2750 packages available
- 20 for $50 – 2800 packages available
- 100 for $100 – 3000 packages available
- Total Ticket Value $500,000
* The Odds of winning are dependent on the number of tickets

Ticket sales will start on Tuesday August 20, 2025 and end on Monday September 1, 2025 at 11:59PM with the draw taking place online at the Local HERO Foundation hanger on Tuesday September 2, 2025 at 12:00 PM.

The winner will receive a cash prize of 50% of ticket sales up to a maximum of.

Online ticket purchasers will receive Random Generated (RGN) ticket numbers by email by the registered Electronic Raffle Supplier (ERS) (Rafflebox).

In-person ticket purchasers (at Ribfest 2025 location) will receive a physical ticket from a Raffle Sales Unit (RFU) with all purchased numbers listed. (Ribfest 2025 runs August 29 through to Sept. 1, 2025 at Centerfire Place and Father Mercredi High School Football Field in Thickwood, Fort McMurray).

The winner will be determined by a random draw using a registered Electronic Raffle Supplier (ERS) Random Number Generator (RNG).

The winner will be contacted by phone and email (if available). The winner has 30 days to present their winning ticket and claim their prize.

If after 30 days the prize goes unclaimed, the Winning Split partner organizations may apply to AGLC to split the proceeds.
